    Annick Goutal

Annick Goutal is a French perfume house founded in 1981 by Annick Goutal, a former concert pianist turned fragrance creator. The brand was born out of Goutal’s passion for both perfume and art, blending her artistic sensibilities with a deep love for nature. She opened her first boutique in Paris, and it quickly became a destination for those seeking unique, high-quality fragrances that were not mass-produced.
Goutal’s first fragrance, "Eau d'Hadrien" (1981), became an instant success. Inspired by her travels and love of Italy, it was a fresh, citrus-based scent that became synonymous with her brand. This perfume, along with others like "Petite Chérie" (1998), captured the essence of Goutal’s dedication to creating fragrances that told stories and evoked emotion.
Annick Goutal passed away in 1999, but her legacy continued through the brand, which has remained known for its luxurious, artistic approach to perfumery. In 2005, the company was acquired by the Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen duo, who continued to uphold the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and creativity.
Today, Annick Goutal remains a revered name in the fragrance world, with a wide range of perfumes that blend French elegance with natural ingredients and artistic flair. The brand is celebrated for its timeless creations, which continue to captivate with their balance of sophistication and sensuality.
